DANIEL GREENWICH
Composer DANIEL GREENWICH is Interested in distilling complex, experimental and non-canonical elements into original musical expression in its most broadly accessible form, with focus on storytelling, liminal tonality, motives and through-composition. Greenwich’s artistic experiences include pop songwriting, music production, singing, and classical piano performance.
Greenwich is currently a third-year BMus (Hons) Composition student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying with Deirdre Gribbin and Amir Konjani among others. Highlights from 2021 include being featured in the Music 4 Climate Justice Festival for a work in collaboration with Kornélia Nemcová that earned the Best Video prize at Trinity Laban's Digital Collaboration Competition; being selected as a finalist at the Berwick Music Composition; winning the Composition Prize at the John Halford Competition; and, being Highly Commended alongside Rahel Leutwiler in Trinity Laban Conservatoire’s Students' Union Community Competition.
